The first 7 days of each month are fine-free for books returned in good condition!

  1. Our Annual Library Trick or Treat: Tuesday, October 31 from 3:00—5:00. Put on your costume and come on down! (We promise: more treats than tricks!)
  2. It’s time to Enroll Alabama! Julie Hope, the navigator from Enroll Alabama, will be here at the library to assist you with enrollment for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act from

12:00—5:00 p.m as follows:

  1. Green Bag Lunch Gardening Program on the third Thursday of the month!

Thursday, Nov. 16: The Georgia-Alabama Land Trust’s Renee Raney on “Feeding Birds and Animals in Winter” Just bring a lunch; we’ve got the drinks and dessert!

This is the last Green Bag presentation for 2017.  If you would like us to offer a program on a particular gardening topic, just let us know, and we’ll try our best when creating next year’s schedule!

  2. Fall Storytime Tuesdays & Thursdays at 9:30m. Stories, songs, crafts and fun!

Regular Programs and Services

  1. The Sew Joyful Quilters meet regularly on Thursdays from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
  2. Reading Around Book Club meets the first Tuesday of the month from 12:00-1:00 P.M.
